In 1993, John was chosen from 10,000 applicants as one of 11 Elvis’s to appear on the ‘Stars in their Eyes Elvis Special’.

John represented Elvis in what many regard as his finest period – the 1968 comeback special (Leather suit & all) singing Guitar Man.There then followed many TV and other media invitations from around the world.

Granada TV wanted to include Elvis in their forthcoming‘Stars in their Eyes Christmas Special’. Of the 11 original ‘Elvis’s, they chose John to perform Blue Christmas and White Christmas for the grand finale!
